For Bodhi
After leaving active duty, I knew that my passion was to teach. To teach my fellow countryman how to defend themselves, their families, their community and their country. However, like many transitioning veterans, I struggled with money, purpose and identity. After falling on my face trying to build a business, I turned to the world of Security Contracting. There I was able to find my tribe. A conglomerate of men with shared backgrounds and friends who I will cherish for the rest of my life.
While Contracting and the Reserves scratched my 'itch' to remain relevant in my world, I never took a big enough step towards building my own business. Despite all I had acomplished in my young life, the challenge of running my own company frightened me. It wasn't until the passing of my German Shepherd 'Bodhi' that I decided to embark on this grand endeavor. Bodhi was truly my best friend, and not only was he there for me but he was there for my wife during multiple deployments that took me away from her. I was heartbroken, but determined to acomplish my goal. He reminded me that life can end at any moment and that I should "seize the moment" while I can.
So I asked myself: "What do I have to offer that other training programs do not"?
Former Operators are a dime-a-dozen these days. Many teaching outdated methodologies and tactics and refusing to adapt to the ever-changing battlespace. THIS was my edge. I am currently a reservist with 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, where we are contantly evolving our skills. I am also actively deploying as a security contractor where I have access to a plethora of experience from SF to Rangers to SEAL's and other highly skilled individuals. Through these avenues not only do I refine my skillset and develop modern training solutions for prepared citizens, but I am able to have my curriculum peer reviewed by liasons of every single branch of service.
My mission is to provide the absolute best tactical training available to responsible, prepared citizens who may eventually be on the FLOT protecting our homeland.
